In 2019 Rivian announced that it will make vans as part of the partnership with Amazon, now those vans are available for other businesses also, even for just one piece.
The initial agreement with Amazon included a 4 year exclusivity period, that period ended in November of 2023, when they renamed the van from “Electric Delivery Van” to “Rivian Commercial Vehicle”, as a city van is perfect for contractors, food trucks an so on.
The RCV comes in two separate models – RCV 500 and RCV 700. The latter is both longer and wider, with much more cargo space.
